ASEBA stands for Achenbach System of Empirically Based Assessment

ASEBA comprises questionnaires for reporting emotional and behavioral problems. The questionnaires can be filled out by parents, teachers, youths, and adults. They are available for several age groups, including 1½-5, 6-18, and 18-59 years. Short forms exist for age group 6-18 years. The questionnaires are available for online administration and scoring.

ASEBA developed by Thomas M. Achenbach from the University of Vermont, U.S.A.

The Scheduled for Affective Disorders and Schizophrenia for School-Aged Children (K-SADS) is the most widely used and well validated semi-structured psychiatric diagnostic interview for children and adolescents. The Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry/Psychology made a Dutch translation of the online version. Please visit for more information.
